When the day begins
The golden rays nourishing
Today starts anew

Part of the #FMSPHOTOADAY challenge, today is May 2 which is associated with morning ritual and I choose Surya Namaskar. Associated with Yoga, Surya Namaskar literally means welcoming the sun and what better ritual than to do this in the open air under the new sun.. Well I am still encouraging myself so if I preach more I might actually do it !

Natural Rock Formations on St Mary’s Island #atozchallenge

Designs of nature
So Bizarre yet beautiful
Man is still a child

St Mary’s Island in Udupi known for its natural rock formations that looks like its carved with a knife and is literally a bizarre modern ar of nature. With its green clear water, this is a place to be though we got to spend on an hour there. The ride to this island was fun too with the boat bouncing along on the waves and then the transfer to a smaller boat.

Misty dreams of yore
Thoughts and reality blend
Life as I see it

Part of the #atozchallenge with M. This photo was taken in Mullayangiri, Chikmagalur, the highest peak in Karnataka. . Howling and freezing winds and sleets of rain, the works that only nature can provide. The drive to the top was fun too with a sheer drop I could see right from my window below when I was driving with my shivering better half . This temple was on route to the top.
